CARE Medical is a privately owned and independent Company supplying Cardiac, Anaesthetic, Respiratory and Emergency equipment to the New Zealand healthcare market.

CARE Medical commenced trading as a joint venture in April 1999. The owners are two long established market leaders in New Zealand and Australia:

InterMed Medical Ltd - Based in Auckland, IML was founded in 1980 and specialised in the higher technology end of the medical device and consumables market.

Mayo Healthcare Pty Ltd - was originally founded as CE Mayo Pty Ltd in Sydney in 1928 and started a medical division in 1951. Formerly trading as Anaesthetic Supplies Pty Ltd and Viasys Australia, Mayo Healthcare is now Australia's largest privately owned medical supplier.
